For 2.5 years I have been creating stunning memories for families of Birmingham and it has been a joy and pleasure as always. I have met so many new parents to be who have come for maternity photoshoots, returned with their newborn babies and growing families over my time as a professional maternity and newborn photographer. I am incredibly lucky to have been chosen by each and every single one of them to create their memories and so a part of me lives within their images. A part of their memories exist here.
However, the time has come to make a leap into the next chapter of my business and open my very first studio!! I am so elated and excited to share that I am moving to a lovely spot in the Jewellery Quarter Birmingham, with sessions from 9th November 2019 starting there! I am overjoyed with the excitement of what more I will be able to create with more space and a purpose-built premises to ena ble me to offer more to clients who come to me. Changing my career was the toughest challenge and I am so greatful that it has gone from strength to strength, winning international awards and photography society recognition are some of my greatest achievements but what is most important is the journey of identity along with it. Embracing culture and colours has been my best exploration of who I am and increasing the visibility of those who wish to embrace their heritage too.
I am really looking forward to seeing how this next chapter unfolds, the memories I will get to capture, the art I get to create, the people and families I will meet and where next my photography may go!
So, from now on, I will be based at Izabella House in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham!
