The wedding of Stella and Tom was took place in June 2018 at a church and the venue for the day was Somerford Hall. This beautiful listed mansion is set amongst the beautiful countryside of Stafford and provides a contemporary yet luxurious setting for a wedding. Because it isn’t a hotel and exclusivity, you will find that they are able to offer a unique, personalised experience catering to you and your guests on the day.

I really enjoyed shooting with Photography By Natasha Ince as her second shooter, as always, her work is incredible and highly favoured. So it is a great opportunity for me to learn and of course enjoy the experience of being a wedding photographer.

Doesn’t Stella look beautiful? We had the most glorious sunshine, though challenging to work with, it is always nice to have the sun on your wedding day. Have a look through and enjoy a whistle stop tour of a full day of wedding photography at Somerford Hall.

The best part about bridal preparations is having your best girl friends and family members to help help you get ready for the big day. I always make sure that those details, such as the personalised robes are captured during the wedding, as they are a personal touch to your images.

The excitement and anticipation grows when arriving at the church. Stella was accompanied by her father walking up to the entrance of the church, awaited by her bridesmaids. I really loved these dresses, a lovely, blush pink with stunning sequinned tops. Both the bride and the bridesmaids had gypsophila in their hair which looked beautiful. Here are a few snaps from the ceremony at the church which was traditional with hymns and prayer.

Between now and the evening reception consisted of candid photographs of the guests, the wedding breakfast, couples portraits and group portraits for the remainder of the day. Finally, towards the end of the day we had the cutting of the cake and first dance. Now’s the time to relax as the formalities of the wedding day are over and you can get moving on the dance floor!

Overall it was a beautiful and smooth running day. As always I love to capture moments at weddings, they’re always so unique and different. Enriched with the personalities of the couples!
