My Journey as a Wedding Photographer

After spending time on second shooting and working as solo for weddings I realised that it is something I want to be a part of for couples. Sharing in their day is so special and being charged to capture their memories is a privilege and an honour.

 Seeing all of the preparations, capturing the details, the joy, laughter, nerves, dress reveal.. The Pride witnessed on the Father of the Bride’s face is beautiful to see. Grooms bantering with their best men, calming nerves and looking as dapper as ever on their day is such an experience. 

Second shooting has given me an insight into what makes beautifu Wedding Photography and I honestly enjoyed my time. I was so welcomed by the couple and their guests, as well as assisting an excellent and established photographer.

She worked quickly and knew where to be and what to do. I felt that my previous experiences in my career gave me the confidence and boost to recognise quickly where I needed to be and what I needed to do.

The details are always one of my favourites to work on because I get to use the rings or ‘something blue’ to really show off in an image. The engagement ring is always a great addition to a collection as it serves as the very first committment to one another. The photographer I worked with at this amazing wedding had a very relaxed and friendly style which I totally adore.
