“Tianna is not only a super talented photographer but one of the kindest, loveliest people you could wish to meet. She made me feel totally at ease during my maternity session, at a time when my self esteem was pretty low. The photographs are beautiful and exactly what I wanted – she took the time to listen to me and create beautiful memories for me and my family. Could not recommend her more highly.”
A. Slinky – Maternity Photography
The journey to motherhood seems like a lifetime when in reality, 10 short months of pregnancy, or approximately 40 weeks maybe sooner or later your precious newborn baby will be in your arms. Maternity photographs are a way to honour the incredibly thing your body is doing to nurture and grow new life inside of you. A way to show your child how loved and proud he or she is from the start. The joy and anticipation ahead of their arrival and the love shared between parents that preceded their earthside existance. Many expectant mothers miss their baby bumps once baby arrives and it is so precious to have these memories to keep. Despite many pregnancy pitfalls, looking back on photographs professionally taken, will always ensure there is a smile on your face. Furthermore, enjoy a moment with your partner, before you become a family and capture that time together.
When Will My Maternity Session Be?
Maternity sessions are typically scheduled between weeks 28 through to 34, occasionally earlier or later depending on individual circumstances. This is so that you are feeling your best, energetic and of course, still time left to return to view and order images ahead of the big arrival. However, it is strongly encouraged that you book your pregnancy photography sooner than later so that there is plenty of time to create beautiful, timeless images. You can schedule your session now or enquire for a complimentary call back here.
What Do I Need To Bring To My Pregnancy Portrait Session?
As a suggestion to all expectant parents, bring white and black underwear, or if you have a specific colour you like then you are welcome to bring those as part of your portrait session. Maternity dresses are available, however fabric is most often used to create individual and stylistic, modern photography that you will love. Please suggest any colours that you wish to have, so they can be made available to you during your maternity session. Your partner is welcome to attend, with a plain white or neutral shirt and dark coloured jeans. Shoes are not required as your session will be bare feet.
